Flash Slideshow Maker - Microsoft Expression Web Tutorial
This tutorial will show you how to insert XML driven flash photo slideshow into Microsoft Expression Web 4. This tutorial applies to the SWF files created by Flash Slideshow Maker under the "Advanced" theme tab. If you create slideshow under the "Basic" theme tab, you can refer to How to embed a SWF slideshow file into Microsoft Expression Web 4
Flash Slideshow Maker supports both embedded mode and XML driven mode, the former merges your photos and background music into a single flash file, the later will create a SWF file containing the assets (a XML file and several other assets files). To enter the XML driven mode to create photo slideshow, you can choose "Advanced" under the "Theme" tab.

Steps to insert XML driven Flash Slideshow into Microsoft Expression Web 4
1. Create your slideshow with an advanced theme using Flash Slideshow Maker. Copy or save all the output files (SWF file and its assets folders) to your website directory.
2. Find the file named "fs_aux.html" from the output folder, open it with a text editor, like Notepad or Microsoft Expression Web, etc. Copy the code section from "<object>" to "</object>".

3. Run Microsoft Expression Web 4, open the HTML page into which you want to insert the slideshow to, switch from "Design" mode to "Code" mode and paste the above code section from "<object>" to "</object>" to your web page.
4. Save the page and preview.
Note:
1. To switch from "Design" mode to "Code" mode in Microsoft Expression Web, please go to the bottom of the interface and click on Code. This will open up an area where you can see the HTML code of your web page.
2. If you want to insert a photo slideshow created under the "Basic" theme tab, please refer to bellow tutorial:

3. If your flash files and HTML file are in different directories, you will need to assign correct value to the flash variable and xml_path, otherwise the "Load Fail" error will occur. The "Load Fail" error occurs due to the incorrect swf file/xml file. You may refer to bellow online tutorial: How to fix the "Load Fail" problem?
