How to insert output SWF flash slideshow to my own website?

1. Using theme in Basic tab

After creating a photo slideshow under the Basic tab, upload the generated SWF Flash file from Flash Slideshow Maker output folder to your website and use the following html code as an example to insert the SWF object into your html code.

Normally, if you insert the SWF in HTML editor, it will apply the correct path of SWF automatically.

 

Note:

1. *demo.swf is name of the generated SWF Flash file. Here, you also need to pay attention to the path of SWF file if you put your web page and SWF in different folders. In such case, there are two places you need to add correct path before the SWF file, as both the MOVIE and SRC attributes specify the location (URL) of the movie to be loaded.

2. The code you need to insert the SWF into your web page can be found from the output HTML document as well. You can use text or HTML editors like Notepad, Frontpage or Dreamweaver to open the HTML document from the output folder, copy the code section from "<object>" to "</object>" into your own HTML page. If you are using Dreamwaver or Frontpage, you should switch from design view to code view.

 

 

 

2. Using theme in Advanced tab

After publishing the advanced slideshow, go to upload the Flash files from Flash Slideshow Maker output folder to your website directory through FTP client. Advanced themes are XML driven, each advanced slideshow comes with a SWF file, a XML file, other image files and folders, you will need to upload all these files and folders to your website. Then following bellow instructions to insert a code snippet (flash object embed code) into your page HTML source.

You can open the output folder by click the menu "File" and select the "Open Output Folder.." menu item.

There is a file named "fs_aux.html", please do not rename or change the output folder structure, open the file with a text editor software. you can see the code like this:

 

 

Please copy the code section from "<object>" to "</object>" into your own HTML page.

Note: 1. If you are using Dreamwaver or Frontpage, you should switch from design view to code view.
2. You should also copy all the files and sub-folders in the output folder to the same folder of your own html file.

3. If you put flash slideshow files and your web page in different directories, please change the code "sample.swf?xml_path=slides.xml" by adding correct path before the SWF and XML file. There are two places, both the MOVIE and SRC attributes specify the location (URL) of the movie to be loaded.
